Our Approach to Copyright
Savvy Giant respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. The Site aggregates and summarizes publicly available news and information from third-party sources. We operate under the following principles:
- We link, summarize, and attribute. Stories in the Daily Intelligence Briefing are summarized in our own words with attribution and links to original sources. We do not republish full articles.
- Fair use. Short quotations, paraphrasing, and news aggregation for informational commentary purposes are generally protected under the fair use doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 107) and similar principles in other jurisdictions.
- Original content. Savvy Giant's original editorial voice, audio productions, analysis, and site design are our own intellectual property, protected by copyright.
